Security Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Security Analyst with 0-2 years of experience to analyze various types of logs and conduct security investigations. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for cybersecurity, exceptional analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Security Analyst at Refyne, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents to protect our organization from potential cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

- Log Analysis: Analyze a variety of logs, including network traffic logs, system logs, and application logs, to identify and investigate security incidents.

- Security Investigations: Conduct in-depth investigations into security alerts and incidents, determine the root cause, and develop appropriate mitigation and remediation strategies.

- Incident Response: Assist in incident response activities, coordinate with internal teams, and external partners to resolve security incidents promptly and effectively.

- Security Monitoring: Utilize security monitoring tools to identify and analyze security events, detect unauthorized activities, and implement necessary measures to enhance security posture.

- Threat Modeling: Perform threat modeling to identify gaps in product security.

- Threat Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends to proactively identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the organization.

- Documentation: Document security incidents, analysis findings, and incident response activities thoroughly for further review and improvement.

- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation of security best practices, provide security awareness training, and promote a security-conscious culture within the organization.

- Compliance: Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to information security.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 0–1 year of experience in cybersecurity or a related field. Fresh graduates with a degree in Security are preferred.

- Strong understanding of security principles and practice.

- Familiarity with various operating systems, network protocols, and security technologies.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and security concepts.
