Role Overview: As a Security Guard at FedEx, your primary responsibility will be to ensure safety and security around ramp operations. You will also be tasked with conducting related administration tasks to support ramp security, maintaining accurate records, and carrying out security screening as required to control access and ensure secure ramp activities. Additionally, you will monitor and manage ramp access points to prevent unauthorized entry and protect assets. It will be crucial for you to report and respond promptly to security incidents on the ramp to maintain operational safety. Collaboration with team members to enhance overall ramp security effectiveness and compliance will also be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Perform Security Guarding to ensure safety and security around ramp operations. - Conduct related administration tasks to support ramp security and maintain accurate records. - Carry out Security Screening as required to control access and ensure secure ramp activities. - Monitor and manage ramp access points to prevent unauthorized entry and protect assets. - Report and respond to security incidents on the ramp promptly to maintain operational safety. - Collaborate with team members to enhance overall ramp security effectiveness and compliance. Qualifications Required: - Have overall relevant experience for 4 to 5 years and 2 to 3 years as an x-ray screener. - Must be X-ray screening certified.
