Job Description


An SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Specialist focuses on improving a website's visibility in search engine results, primarily through organic (non-paid) search. They analyze, strategize, and implement changes to websites to increase organic traffic, improve search rankings, and enhance brand awareness. This involves tasks like keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, link building, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic visibility.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify content opportunities and optimize site performance.
  • Optimize website content, blogs, and landing pages for search engines.
  • Manage on-page SEO: meta tags, headings, URL structure, internal linking, schema markup, etc.
  • Execute off-page SEO strategies: backlink building, outreach, guest posting, and collaborations.
  • Perform regular technical SEO audits to fix site speed, mobile usability, indexing, and crawl issues.
  • Track, analyze, and report website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrens.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO-friendly practices.
  • Monitor competitors’ SEO strategies and identify growth opportunities.

  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
  • Ability to perform keyword research, backlink analysis, and content optimization.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to collaborate with content, design, and development teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to algorithm updates and SEO trends.
