Job Title / Designation: FACULTY - SOUND ENGINEERING We are seeking a passionate and skilled academic professional in Sound Engineering with expertise in Live Sound Engineering and Acoustics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in digital audio techniques, sound editing, core concepts of sound, and hands-on experience in live sound systems and acoustics. The candidate will be responsible for mentoring students, developing curriculum, and contributing to the academic and creative environment of the institution. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver courses on Live and Studio Equipment , Digital Audio , Fundamentals of Audio , and Live Sound Engineering and Acoustics . Guide students through practical applications of live sound system setup , troubleshooting , and acoustical treatments . Arrange engaging sound engineering workshops , leveraging industry connections. Maintain academic documentation in accordance with institutional and university standards . Participate in regular teaching evaluations and attend training programs as required to improve pedagogical skills . Specific Skill Set : Strong working knowledge and experience of Studio Recording Music Mixing Signal Processing knowledge On location sound recording & 5.1 mixing Software: Pro Tools, Nuendo, Waves Bundles, etc. Excellent Communicator & basic computer knowledge (MS Office - Excel, word & PowerPoint) Time management and follow-up skills Minimum/Maximum/ Work Experience Required: A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in sound engineering. Location(s) of Job: NorthCap University, Gurugram Minimum Education Requirements: A Bachelors degree in Sound Engineering or a related field (certifications in relevant areas will be an added advantage). Any other skill set: Proficiency in Pro Tools, Ableton, Logic, or any other digital audio tools. Expertise in live sound systems, acoustic design, and related equipment. Familiarity with MS Office applications.
