Job Overview Senior Engineer - Quality Engineering in the Financial Services domain with 6-10 years of experience. Proficient in Selenium automation testing, API automation, REST Assured, Tosca, regression testing, SQL, test case design, and defect tracking. Skilled in API testing with tools like Postman and SOAP. Expertise in utilizing Rest APIs for integration testing. Responsibilities include leading automated test strategy design, script development, regression testing, collaboration with development teams, data validation, and test case management. Mentoring junior team members and implementing Agile methodologies. Good to have experience in AI/ML, Azure DevOps, strong Agile understanding, and familiarity with Agile practices/tools. Education requirement: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science Engineering or Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Software Engineering. Certification: ISTQB Certified Tester and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM). Roles & Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of automated test strategies using Selenium and Rest Assured for web and API testing. Develop and execute automated test scripts, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and accuracy. Conduct regression testing and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement. Collaborate with development teams to integrate quality assurance practices into the SDLC. Utilize SQL and database knowledge to perform data validation and verification. Manage test case design, execution, and defect tracking processes to ensure high-quality deliverables. Utilize tools like Postman and SoapUI for API testing. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality engineering. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members. Implement agile methodologies and frameworks for efficient testing processes. Work in tandem with AI/ML teams to incorporate automation and AI-driven testing solutions. Utilize Azure DevOps for test management and continuous integration.
