SDET Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Automation:

  Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent.

• Framework Development:

  Build and enhance scalable, reusable test automation frameworks that integrate with CI/CD pipelines.

• Manual & Exploratory Testing:

  Perform manual testing and exploratory testing as needed to validate critical business scenarios.

• Continuous Integration & Delivery:

  Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.

• Defect Management:

  Identify, log, and track defects in collaboration with development teams; participate in root cause analysis.

• Performance & Security Testing:

  Conduct basic performance, load, and security testing to ensure application reliability and security standards are met.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with product owners, developers, and QA engineers to ensure requirements are testable and high-quality software is delivered.

• Documentation:

  Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 37 years of experience as an SDET or in software testing with a focus on automation.
• Strong programming skills in

  Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript

  .
• Experience with

  test automation frameworks

  (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with

  API testing

  tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD tools

  like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of

  SQL and database testing

  .
• Understanding of

  Agile/Scrum methodologies

  .
• Experience in

  performance testing

  (JMeter, LoadRunner) and

  security testing

  is a plus.
