SDE-1 (Java Developer)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot . Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices . Work with MS SQL Server to write efficient queries, stored procedures, and perform database optimizations . Debug and resolve application bugs and performance issues . Follow coding best practices, security guidelines, and design patterns . Collaborate with senior developers, product teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver quality software. Write unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability. Work in an Agile development environment and participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning. Required Skills & Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot . Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture . Experience with MS SQL Server , writing queries, stored procedures, and optimizing performance . Basic knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and ORM concepts. Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab for version control. Understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices . Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) . Preferred Skills: Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines . Understanding of message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka. Exposure to cloud services like Azure or AWS. Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field .
