Job Title: Scrum master Location: Chennai Department: Project Management office Reports to: Project Director Requirement: Immediate Key Responsibilities: 1. Resource Planning and Allocation: Work closely with project managers, team leads, and department heads to understand resource needs and allocations. Ensure that resources are assigned efficiently across multiple projects, avoiding underutilization or over-allocation. Maintain a centralized resource allocation through Zoho Projects. 2. Utilization and Optimization: Monitor resource utilization rates and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Forecast resource availability and address potential bottlenecks or shortages. Ensure the effective use of tools, software, and technology by the resources (Like Zoho tools, forms, GIT etc.,). 3. Coordination and Communication: Serve as a liaison between different teams to address resource conflicts and prioritize tasks. Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to update them on resource availability and project alignment. Ensure proper onboarding and training of resources wherever required. 4. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Track the productivity and performance of allocated resources using KPIs and performance metrics. Generate regular reports on resource utilization, availability, and project alignment. Provide insights and recommendations for Resources planning based on data trends. 5. Strategic Resource Management: Plan for future resource needs based on project pipelines and business objectives. Develop contingency plans to address unexpected resource changes or emergencies. Qualifications: 1. Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field. Certification in project management or Scrum master is a plus. 2. Experience: Proven experience in resource management, workforce planning, or project coordination. Experience in a software or technology company is must. 3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in resource management tools Familiarity with project management software (e.g., JIRA, Zoho Project, or MS Project). Strong analytical and reporting skills using tools like Excel or Zoho Analytics.
