Hiring for Scrum Master Experience : 5 -10 Years Job Location : Chennai Role : Scrum Master Job Description: Key Responsibilities Agile & Scrum Facilitation: Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives) ensuring they are productive, positive, and strictly time-boxed. Coach and guide the Scrum team on Agile and Scrum principles, practices, and values. Foster a culture of self-organization, cross-functionality, and continuous improvement within the team. Ensure the team adheres to the Definition of Done and delivers high-quality, valuable increments. Impediment Removal & Shielding: Proactively identify, track, and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress. Shield the team from external interferences and distractions to maintain focus on Sprint goals. Accountability & On-Time Delivery: Hold team members accountable for their commitments and ensure a high level of transparency regarding progress and potential roadblocks. Work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, scope, and timelines. Facilitate effective estimation, planning, and progress tracking to ensure projects are delivered on time. Monitor and report on team velocity and sprint/release progress. Empathy & Team Dynamics: Build strong, trusting relationships with team members, fostering an environment of psychological safety and open communication. Demonstrate empathy in understanding team challenges, individual working styles, and motivations. Mediate conflicts and facilitate difficult conversations with a focus on constructive outcomes. Stakeholder Management & Communication: Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear and concise updates on project status, risks, and issues. Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and ready for the team. Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team and the wider organization.
