Scion Renewable Private Limited (Formally Known as Scion Power) Job Location: Rajkot Experience Required For Sales Head: 3-5 Year Employment Type: Full time No. of Vacancies for Sales Head-01 The Sales Head will be responsible for driving lead generation, client engagement, and sales conversion for rooftop solar solutions in the C&I segment and Residential Segment. Once a project is closed, it will be handed over to the execution team led by the Project Manager. The role requires strong technical understanding, commercial acumen, and deep familiarity with local markets and decision-makers. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets for rooftop solar solutions in residential, commercial, and industrial (C&I) sectors. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate qualified leads, and manage the sales pipeline from initial contact to deal closure. Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, including sales representatives and site assessment teams, to ensure high performance and achieve KPIs. Channel Partner Management: Establish and expand a robust channel and distribution network, engaging with dealers, distributors, and system integrators to ensure effective market coverage. Client Engagement & Negotiation: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, leading techno-commercial discussions and contract negotiations. Market Analysis: Conduct market research, track competitor activity, and monitor policy/regulatory developments (e.g., government policies like PM Surya Ghar) to adjust strategies accordingly. Collaboration & Project Oversight: Work closely with internal engineering, project execution, and after-sales teams to ensure seamless project delivery and a positive customer experience. Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management. Required Skills Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, components, installation processes, and different business models. Leadership: Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present complex information and build rapport. Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to protect company interests while ensuring customer satisfaction. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and financial projections to create tailored proposals and strategic plans. CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for managing leads and tracking the sales pipeline. Qualifications & Experience Graduate in BBA, MBA - related field. 3–5 years of experience in B2B solution sales, preferably in solar or power infrastructure. Prior experience in selling rooftop solar systems to C&I And Residential clients is essential. Strong understanding of solar economics (payback, IRR, net metering, etc.) Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
