Scheduling Manager

Role Overview: Our client, a leading Steel Reinforcement Suppliers and manufacturer in Sydney, Australia, is seeking highly experienced individuals to work offshore from India. As part of the team, you will be responsible for providing efficient and accurate reinforcing bar bending schedules, interpreting construction drawings, managing building projects, and communicating effectively with clients and internal departments. Your role will involve maintaining an organized filing system, producing accurate bar lists and marking plans, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Key Responsibilities: - Provide efficient and accurate reinforcing bar bending schedules to meet customer satisfaction and project requirements. - Interpret and comprehend construction drawings to produce bar lists for manufacturing of reinforced steel. - Produce marking plans for the placement of reinforced steel on construction sites. - Manage and oversee building projects. - Communicate and co-ordinate with clients, production, logistics, and sales departments to ensure deadlines are met. - Advise manufacturing department on any irregular or custom products requiring special attention. - Assist production with manufacturing errors related to shape codes. - Report to top management on the performance of the QHSE Management System and suggest opportunities for improvement. - Ensure processes deliver intended outcomes and promote customer focus. - Promote WHS awareness and culture for a safe work environment. - Participate in quality, health, safety, and environmental activities as necessary. Qualifications Required: - At least 3 years of experience in the Steel reinforcement industry. - Excellent understanding of various construction drawings. - Strong attention to detail and communication skills. - Good time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work well with diverse teams. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software (aSa preferred). - Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively. - Goal-driven, analytical, and comfortable dealing with numerical data.
