Your work will directly impact the training data used by leading robotics AI labs, ensuring the highest quality and diverse datasets for more capable autonomous systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - **High-Precision Teleoperation:** Operate robotic systems (arms, mobile manipulators, and integrated platforms) to collect diverse, complex demonstrations across varied tasks and environments. - **Data Quality Assurance:** Ensure all collected data meets rigorous quality standards, including proper sensor synchronization, motion smoothness, task completion accuracy, and documentation completeness. - **Task Execution & Variation:** Execute multi-step manipulation and navigation tasks with consistency and precision, introducing meaningful task variations to capture diverse behaviors for model training. - **Detailed Documentation:** Maintain comprehensive records of each data collection session, including environmental context, task parameters, execution notes, and any anomalies or challenges encountered. The Opportunity As our Founder's Office Intern , you'll work directly with our CEO to shape the operational and strategic foundation of Saturn Labs during a critical growth phase. Your Role As a Founder's Office Intern, you will: Operations & Strategy - Contribute to strategic planning and execution around scaling our real-world and synthetic data collection capabilities - Help establish operational workflows that ensure quality, efficiency, and scalability as we grow Cross-Functional Collaboration - Interface between the CEO and technical teams on strategic initiatives - Help coordinate with clients, partners, and team members to ensure smooth execution of key projects - Contribute to business development activities, including competitor analysis and market research Project Ownership - Own 2-3 high-impact projects from conception to execution - This could range from setting up new data collection sites, improving internal processes, to supporting go-to-market initiatives What We're Looking For Essential Qualities: High agency and ownership mentality Adaptability Attention to detail Problem-solving mindset Great to Have: Background in robotics, AI, or operations (coursework, projects, or internship experience) Familiarity with data annotation, data collection, or ML workflows Experience working in early-stage startups or high-growth environments Project management or operational coordination experience Ideal Candidate Profile: Recent graduate or final-year student from a top technical institute (pref IITs/BITS) Intellectually curious and passionate about robotics and AI Comfortable working offline in Bangalore and ready to commit fully for 2 months Detail-oriented and organized, with strong time management skills Join us in building the data infrastructure for the next generation of intelligent robots.
