JD- SAS Admin We are seeking a skilled and proactive SAS Administrator to manage SAS environment and provide effective solutions to clients and team members. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing SAS administration, identifying challenges, and implementing solutions to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction. SAS Platform Administration: Install, configure, and maintain SAS software and related components. Monitor and troubleshoot SAS platform performance, ensuring high availability and reliability. Manage user access, security, and permissions within the SAS environment. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate SAS with other systems and applications. Support with the SAS code migration to AWS. Data Engineering: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into SAS datasets. Perform data quality checks and implement data cleansing and validation procedures. Optimise data processing and storage for efficient performance. Qualification : Strong experience in SAS platform administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in SAS programming, including data manipulation, analysis, and reporting desirable. Experience with SAS Data Integration Studio and SAS macros. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS) and SQL. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in SAS patching and hotfixes. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud-based SAS environments (SAS Viya platform) Certification in SAS administration or related areas Familiarity with data management, and analytics is an added advantage
