Sap Treasury Consultant

Position Purpose

Lead and execute the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4 HANA Treasury modules for covering Bank Relationship Management, Cash & Liquidity Management, Trade

Finance, Exposure & Hedge Management, and Treasury Risk Management. The role involves

translating complex treasury business requirements into SAP solutions while ensuring

seamless integration with existing financial processes and compliance with regulatory

requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement SAP S/4 HANA Treasury modules including CLM,

TRM, Trade Finance (LC/BG), and Exposure & Hedge Management

• Lead functional requirements gathering and gap analysis for treasury processes

including cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, bank reconciliation, and trade

finance operations

• Configure and implement Bank Relationship Management including house banks,

bank accounts, payment methods, and signatory management

• Implement Cash & Liquidity Management solutions for daily cash positioning, memo

records creation, bank-to-bank transfers, and liquidity forecasting

• Design and configure Trade Finance processes for LC issuance, acceptance, payments,

discounting, and BG management (physical and e-BGs)

• Configure Exposure & Hedge Management for foreign currency risk management,

forward contracts, and mark-to-market valuations

• Implement Investment Management processes including fixed deposits, mutual

funds, securities, and commercial papers

• Set up Debt Management for term loans, working capital facilities, and covenant

compliance tracking

• Design and develop custom reports, workflows, interfaces, and enhancements as per

RICEFW requirements

• Configure master data including Business Partners, GL accounts, security classes,

planning groups, and valuation areas

• Integrate Treasury modules with SAP FI, MM, SD modules and external systems (bank

portals, AMFI, Reuters)

• Develop BTP workflows for approval processes and stakeholder notifications

• Ensure compliance with RBI/FEMA regulations and internal treasury policies

Profile Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or Engineering • MBA in

Finance or CA/CFA certification preferred • SAP Treasury certification in

S/4 HANA highly desirable

Experience • 8-12 years of experience in SAP Treasury module implementation

• At least 3 full lifecycle S/4 HANA Treasury implementations • Minimum 2

years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4 HANA Treasury modules (CLM,

TRM, Trade Finance) • Experience in chemical/agrochemical industry

treasury operations preferred • Proven track record of handling

complex treasury transformation projects

Industry to be hired from Chemical, Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or Manufacturing

industries with complex treasury operations

Functional Competencies

• Expert knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA Treasury modules - CLM, TRM,

Trade Finance, BRM • Strong understanding of treasury operations

including cash management, liquidity planning, forex risk management

• Experience in configuring bank interfaces (MT940, MT942, H2H

connectivity) • Knowledge of financial instruments - FDs, CPs, bonds,

mutual funds, derivatives • Understanding of hedge accounting

principles and IFRS 9 requirements • Experience with LC/BG operations,

bill discounting, and factoring processes • Proficiency in SAP Treasury

transaction codes (FTR_CREATE, FTR_EDIT, TBB1, TPM13) • Experience

in developing treasury reports using FF7BN, TPM12, TPM13, and

custom reports • Knowledge of RICEFW development methodology and

coordination with technical teams • Understanding of Indian regulatory

requirements (RBI, FEMA) for forex and trade finance
