Key Responsibilities Functional Expertise

• Lead end-to-end SAP TM implementations (Greenfield, Brownfield, Rollouts, and Enhancements).
  
• Strong knowledge of

  Freight Order Management, Freight Unit Building, Transportation Planning & Optimization (TPO)

  .
• Configure

  Carrier Selection, Charge Calculation, Freight Settlement, Load Planning, Tendering

  , and

  Execution

  .
• Experience in

  Transportation Network setup

  : Locations, Zones, Resources, Lanes, Schedules, Calendars.
• Design and configure

  Transportation Cockpit

  , planning profiles, strategies, and optimizers.
• Deep understanding of

  Forwarding Order Management

  (if applicable to TM 9.6+).

Integration Expertise

• Strong experience integrating TM with:
  

• SAP ECC / S/4HANA (SD, MM, LE, EWM)

• SAP EM (Event Management)

• SAP GTS

• Non-SAP TMS systems and carrier APIs (optional)
  
• Expertise with

  IDocs, BAPIs, Web Services

  , and API-based integrations.

Technical & Process Knowledge

• Understanding of TM master data: Business Partners, Locations, Transportation Lanes, Products, Calendars.
  
• In-depth knowledge of

  Charge Management

  and

  Settlement Document Bridging

  with FI/CO.
• Strong understanding of

  Transportation Planning

  scenariosroad, air, rail, and ocean.
• Hands-on with

  PUD (Pick-Up & Delivery)

  ,

  Multimodal Transport

  ,

  Parcel processes

  , and

  Freight Booking

  .
• Experience in

  Logistics Execution

  and

  Warehouse integration

  .

Required Skills

• Minimum

  9+ years

  of experience in SAP Logistics and

  7+ years specifically in SAP TM

  .
• Must have worked on

  at least 2–3 full lifecycle SAP TM implementations

  .
• Expertise in both

  SAP TM embedded in S/4HANA

  and

  SAP TM standalone

  (preferred).
• Strong functional configuration and solution design experience.
  
• Ability to drive workshops, gather business requirements, and translate them into TM solutions.
  
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and process validation skills.
  

Good to Have

• Experience working with

  SAP TM Optimizer

  (Vehicle Scheduling, Load Planning, Routing).
• Knowledge of

  Fiori apps

  related to TM.
• Exposure to

  BOPF

  and

  BRF+

  frameworks.
• Basic ABAP debugging or technical understanding.
  
• Industry experience in

  Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Retail, Logistics, Automotive
