Job Description SAP Test Architect Company Name:- Tech Mahindra Location: Chennai Experience Required: 6+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Work Mode: Hybrid/WFO Job Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Test Architect to lead the testing strategy for S/4HANA transformation projects . The ideal candidate must have expertise in ECC to S/4HANA migration, S/4HANA implementation, and SAP testing methodologies . A strong background in testing tools and any functional expertise in SAP SD or FICO will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: SAP Testing Strategy & Leadership Define and execute testing strategy, framework, and best practices for S/4HANA migration and implementation projects . Lead and manage end-to-end testing cycles for SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation . Ensure test planning, execution, and defect management are aligned with project goals. S/4HANA Migration & Implementation Testing Oversee functional, integration, regression, and performance testing for S/4HANA. Validate business processes, configurations, and data migration during SAP transformation. Ensure test scripts and scenarios are aligned with SAP best practices . Testing Tool & Automation Experience Implement and manage SAP testing tools such as HP ALM, Worksoft Certify, Tricentis Tosca, Micro Focus UFT, Selenium, or SAP Solution Manager Test Suite . Drive test automation strategies for S/4HANA projects. Ensure testing tools integrate with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines . SAP Functional & Technical Expertise Strong understanding of SAP modules, especially SD/FICO (added advantage). Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure business requirements are met. Support defect triaging and resolution across SAP landscapes. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Work with business stakeholders, SAP consultants, and project managers to drive testing success. Provide testing status updates, reports, and risk mitigation strategies . Train and mentor junior testers on SAP testing best practices . Required Skills & Qualifications: 6+ years of SAP Testing experience , with a focus on S/4HANA Migration & Implementation . Expertise in ECC to S/4HANA transformation testing methodologies. Strong knowledge of SAP SD or FICO (preferred, but not mandatory). Experience with SAP test automation tools (HP ALM, Worksoft Certify, Tricentis Tosca, Micro Focus UFT, Selenium, or SAP Solution Manager). Hands-on experience with defect management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.). Strong knowledge of SAP data validation, business processes, and security testing.
