Role Overview

SAP SuccessFactors Lead Consultant / Solution Architect

This role requires strong hands-on configuration skills, solutioning expertise, pre-sales exposure, and the ability to manage stakeholders and integrations in complex multi-entity environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as

  Solution Lead

  for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, while providing guidance across the broader SF suite (Recruitment, Onboarding, PMGM, Compensation, LMS, Succession, Analytics, etc.).
• Lead

  end-to-end implementations

  from discovery to deployment, including business requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and cutover.
• Manage

  client workshops, stakeholder communications, and steering committee updates

  , ensuring alignment between business expectations and contracted scope.
• Handle

  provisioning and system setup

  for SF instances, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Provide

  solutioning expertise

  during pre-sales, including demos, RFP responses, and scoping workshops.
• Define and validate

  integration requirements

  with third-party systems (Payroll, Time, Attendance, Biometric, CLRA, Canteen, Security, Finance, etc.).
• Prepare and maintain

  Scope vs Requirement matrices

  , identifying gaps and proposing roadmap (Phase 1 vs Phase 2).
• Guide clients on

  data migration strategy

  , historical data requirements, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, CLRA, etc. for India).
• Provide

  leadership to consultants and offshore teams

  , ensuring delivery excellence.
• Act as a

  trusted advisor

  to client HR and IT leadership, supporting decision-making on module selection, licensing, and future roadmap.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–12+ years

  of total HR Tech / SAP HXM experience with at least

  5+ full-cycle SAP SuccessFactors implementations

  (mandatory).
• Strong expertise in

  Employee Central (core HRIS, position management, workflows, business rules, data models)

  .
• Knowledge of

  at least 2 additional SF modules

  (PMGM, Compensation, LMS, RCM, Onboarding, Succession, Analytics).
• Strong experience with

  Provisioning

  ,

  Role-Based Permissions

  , and system architecture.
• Exposure to

  pre-sales activities

  – solution demos, client workshops, scoping, and effort estimation.
• Strong knowledge of

  integrations

  (SAP Cloud Platform Integration, Dell Boomi, APIs, web services, Payroll integrations, Biometric/Time systems).
• Excellent understanding of

  India HR compliance

  (PF, ESI, CLRA, tax reporting, statutory audits, etc.).
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage at

  CXO / Steering Committee level

• SAP Certification in

  Employee Central

  (mandatory); certifications in additional modules preferred.
