Job Description

Role & responsibilities

A. SAP MM (Materials Management) Responsibilities

Procurement Process Setup:
Configure and manage end-to-end procurement cycles (PR, PO, GR, IR).
Inventory Management:
Set up and maintain material master data, valuation, stock types, and physical inventory processes.
Vendor Management:
Integrate vendor evaluation, source determination, and info records.
Material Master Data:
Maintain and validate material types, purchasing groups, and storage locations.
Automatic Account Determination:
Configure valuation and account assignment for materials.
Integration:
Work with FI/CO for invoice verification and account postings.

B. SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Responsibilities

Warehouse Structure Design:
Define warehouse layout, storage types, sections, and bins in EWM.
Inbound & Outbound Process Configuration:
Set up inbound (GR, putaway) and outbound (picking, packing, shipping) flows.
Internal Warehouse Processes:
Configure replenishment, stock transfers, and physical inventory.
RF Framework Setup:
Configure and test Radio Frequency (RF) screens for handheld warehouse operations.
Labor Management & Yard Management:
Implement labor management and yard logistics if in project scope.
Integration with MM and SD:
Ensure seamless material flow between MM (procurement), SD (sales), and EWM.
Monitoring & Exception Handling:
Use tools like the Warehouse Monitor to manage queues, errors, and stock discrepancies.
