Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Work closely with business users to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Finance and Controlling processes
Configure SAP FICO modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Controlling
Support end-to-end financial processes such as Record to Report, Purchase to Pay, and Order to Cash
Perform system enhancements, configuration changes, and issue resolutions
Participate in full-cycle implementations, rollouts, and support projects
Execute testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support
Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW objects and work with technical teams for development
Ensure integration between FICO and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and HCM
Work with stakeholders on month-end and year-end closing activities
Support global business teams and provide production support as needed
Prepare training documents and conduct user training sessions
Ensure compliance with financial controls and audit requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide timely project updates

Skills Needed

Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration
In-depth understanding of GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-PA, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders
Good knowledge of integration with MM and SD modules
Experience in tax configuration, foreign currency valuation, and financial reporting
Ability to prepare functional specifications and work with ABAP teams
Understanding of financial accounting processes, IFRS/GAAP principles, and month-end activities
Experience with S/4HANA Finance is an added advantage
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
