Job Description

The Vended Application Senior Consultant I has expertise in two or more areas of the business and delivers product features utilizing vended software, particularly ERP applications, by applying knowledge of the application & rsquo;s functionality and client business processes. The role contributes to the creation of technical designs for their area and configures vendor software for new or existing enterprise-wide and business-unit applications. Manage the complete application development process from conception to deployment for intermediate modules, with the help of product owners and team members, proactively driving interactions with stakeholders to understand product requirements, contribute to the development of the product roadmap with respect to own modules and meet client expectations. Able to translate the business requirements into technical terms and vice versa in enabling the communication through between the business & technical teams seamless. Establish platform specific standards guidelines, checklists Best Practices for architectural development and compliance, develop long term strategies, and roadmaps (12-36 months), in adherence to Enterprise standards. Lead efforts to drive process improvement through internal/cross functional discussions, attend Agile ceremonies, and enable functional, technical reviews for assigned modules in an Agile environment. Present demos of the products to partners and customers, using technical knowledge to influence the direction and evolution of the product/solution Review architectural diagrams, interface specifications, class structures, and other design documents. Use developed understanding of the process, and ensure all gaps are filled. Apply architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability, and manageability. Make recommendations and proposals for design optimization. Develop functional & technical design document for any SAP functionality. Provide assistance, coach, mentor, on-the-job training with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems and/or programming knowledge. Collaborate with team members to create new applications and mitigate technical risks prior to launch. Apply knowledge of technology application methodologies process and tools to support client requirements, with an aim to reduce complexity and continuously improve application performance. Proactively respond to production problems and support production changes in the applications operating environment to drive engineering excellence Ensure adherence to the project budget and financial goals for assigned modules Facilitate the teams progress by periodically taking up capability building sessions for the team members, playing an important role in enhancing their technical skills and keeping the team focused on the goals of the project. Primary Skills SAP S/4 Financials SAP Group Reporting & SAP PaPM preferred Experience 6 to 12 years of IT consulting experience in SAP FI and related modules. Experience with Group Reporting and/or PaPM would be a huge advantage. Shift Timing Should be willing to work in shifts as per the requirement (7:00 AM to 9:30 PM IST).
