Job Description

Job Title: SAP FICO Consultant

SAP FICO Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Configure and customize SAP FI/CO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, COPA, Product Costing).
Perform system testing, integration testing, and UAT.
Work with cross-functional teams (MM/SD/PP) for end-to-end process integration.
Provide support for SAP FICO issues and troubleshoot production incidents.
Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and training materials.
Participate in SAP rollouts, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
Coordinate with ABAP team for custom developments.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, internal controls, and reporting standards.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or IT.
3–8 years of hands-on experience in
SAP FICO
implementation and support.
Strong understanding of financial processes: GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Banking, Taxation, Costing.
Experience in
S/4HANA Finance
(preferred).
Knowledge of integration with MM, SD, PP modules.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP FICO certification.
Experience in FI-AA, Credit Management, Treasury (optional).
Exposure to SAP FIORI apps in Finance.
Experience in global rollout environments.
