Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Banking Functional Consultant Payments to design implement and support SAP Payment solutions The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Payments Engine PE or SAP Payment Centralization and deep understanding of payment processes clearing settlement and integration with external payment networks
Key Responsibilities
Analyse business requirements related to payment processing clearing and settlement in banking environments
Design and configure SAP Payment Engine PE and related modules to support various payment instruments
Develop functional specifications for enhancements interfaces and reports
Coordinate with technical teams for integration with SAP FI TRM and external payment systems
Support end to end payment processing initiation validation routing authorization posting and reconciliation
Assist in migration and transformation projects for banks adopting SAPs Payment Engine or Payment Hub
Conduct workshops prepare test scripts perform UAT and provide end user training
Troubleshoot payment process issues ensuring compliance with banking standards and regulatory requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Information Systems or related field
5 years of experience in SAP Banking projects with at least 3 years focused on Payments
Handson experience with
Strong understanding of payment workflows payment message formats
Experience with full project lifecycle blueprinting configuration testing golive and support
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Certification in Banking Services Payments or Financial Services
Experience with S4HANA Payment Centralization or SAP Multi Bank Connectivity MBC
Familiarity with Treasury Management and Cash Management
Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements for payments
Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments
