Job Summary

SAP CPI Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integrations using

  SAP CPI

  for cloud and on-premise applications.
• Configure and manage

  integration flows (iFlows)

  , adapters, mappings, and message transformations.
• Develop and maintain integrations between

  SAP S/4HANA

  ,

  SAP HANA

  , and third-party systems.
• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to gather requirements and design integration solutions.
  
• Optimize integration performance and troubleshoot CPI/HANA-related issues.
  
• Utilize

  SAP BTP

  tools and

  API Management

  for secure and scalable data exchange.
• Support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes between systems.
  
• Work on

  OData services

  ,

  REST/SOAP APIs

  , and

  IDoc/ALE

  integration.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  
• Maintain documentation for all integration processes and solutions.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree

  in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 3–7 years

  of hands-on experience in

  SAP CPI

  (Cloud Platform Integration).
• Strong knowledge of

  SAP HANA

  (data models, SQL scripting, calculation views, and CDS views).
• Experience with

  SAP S/4HANA

  ,

  SAP BTP

  , and

  SAP API Management

  .
• Proficient in

  XML

  ,

  JSON

  ,

  XSLT

  ,

  Groovy scripting

  , and

  JavaScript

  for CPI development.
• Familiar with

  integration protocols

  (HTTP, IDoc, SOAP, OData, RFC, SFTP, JDBC, etc.).
• Good understanding of

  authentication mechanisms

  (OAuth, SAML, certificates).
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
  
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Certified Development Associate –

  SAP Integration Suite (CPI)

  .
• Experience in

  CI/CD pipelines

  and

  DevOps

  for SAP integration projects.
• Exposure to

  SAP Event Mesh
