SAP BW Consultant

Job Description

Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Masters of Engineering in Computer Science As an SAP BW Consultant, you are responsible for designing and developing data models, implementing ETL processes, and optimizing reporting and analytics. You ensure seamless data integration with SAP and non-SAP systems, enhance performance, and work with SAP BW on HANA/S/4HANA. Additionally, you manage data governance, conduct testing, provide support, and create documentation and training materials for business users. Must-Have Skills: Design and develop data models using SAP BW, including InfoObjects, InfoCubes, and DSOs. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from SAP and non-SAP sources into SAP BW. Develop reports and dashboards using BEx Query Designer, SAP BW Reporting, and integrate with SAP BO, SAC, or Power BI. Optimize query performance and enhance data loading processes for efficient reporting. Work on SAP BW on HANA/S/4HANA, leveraging in-memory capabilities for faster analytics. Ensure seamless data integration with SAP FI, SD, MM, PP, and HR modules. Maintain data governance, accuracy, and security, ensuring compliance with policies. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT to validate data accuracy. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for BW solutions. Create technical documentation, user guides, and conduct training for business users. Good-to-Have Skills: SAP BW on HANA & S/4HANA - Experience with in-memory data processing and optimized modeling. SAP BusinessObjects (BO) & SAC - Knowledge of reporting tools like Web Intelligence, Lumira, and SAP Analytics Cloud. HANA Native Modeling - Understanding of Calculation Views, SQL scripting, and performance tuning. BW/4HANA Migration - Experience in migrating from SAP BW to BW/4HANA.
