Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Developer with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing applications using the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) along with a good understanding of other BTP development tools. This role will involve building scalable, cloud-native applications and working with SAP services on the BTP to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement cloud-based applications using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) on the SAP BTP. Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams to gather and understand requirements for SAP BTP-based solutions. Leverage SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Fiori, and SAP AppGyver to build end-to-end solutions. Create and deploy services, applications, and microservices using CAPM, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability. Develop and integrate data models, services, and APIs using CAP and other BTP tools (e.g., SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP HANA Cloud). Implement SAP BTP authentication and authorization mechanisms to secure applications and ensure data privacy. Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of BTP applications to resolve any issues and ensure optimal performance. Optimize applications for SAP Cloud and on-premise integration, leveraging SAP Integration Suite, SAP API Management, and SAP Business Application Studio. Work on cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, and automate deployment processes to ensure smooth production releases. Ensure best practices for coding, development standards, and security protocols in BTP-based applications. Provide guidance and support in the development of SAP BTP-related solutions, including coaching and mentoring junior developers. Collaborate with the operations team to monitor, maintain, and optimize applications post-deployment. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, deployment guides, and user manuals. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP BTP application development with strong expertise in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM). Proficiency in CAPM development languages such as Node.js, Java, and CDS (Core Data Services). Experience with SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Fiori/UI5, and other SAP BTP services. Strong understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and cloud-native development on SAP BTP. Familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio, SAP API Management, SAP Fiori, and SAP AppGyver. Experience with cloud development tools like Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools for automation and deployment. Knowledge of security practices such as OAuth, SAML, and API security within SAP BTP. Understanding of SAPs cloud integration capabilities and services for seamless system integration (e.g., SAP Integration Suite, OData, RESTful APIs). Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and other SAP systems for integration and application development. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize code and application performance. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Desirable: SAP BTP Certification is a plus. Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 or SAP S/4HANA is a plus. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA). Knowledge of SAP Cloud SDK, SAP Business Technology Platform services, or SAP Data Intelligence. Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial.
