Job Description

As a SAP Basis Administrator at Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of SAP environments and contribute to the success of the world's leading organizations in unlocking the value of technology. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing SAP Basis administration tasks such as installation, upgrades, and patching. - Configuring and managing SAP Solution Manager functionalities like System Monitoring, EWA, and CHARM. - Ensuring system performance, availability, and security across SAP landscapes. - Collaborating with functional and technical teams for issue resolution and smooth operations. - Supporting audits and compliance through proper documentation and system checks. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 4-12 years of experience in SAP Basis and Solution Manager. - Proficiency in managing complex SAP landscapes and leveraging Solution Manager for proactive system management. - Strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration for ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and PI systems. - Knowledge of Solution Manager setup and usage including System Monitoring, CHARM, and Technical Monitoring. - Experience in HANA DB, OS/DB migrations, and backup strategies. - Proficiency in performance tuning, transport management, and system copies. - Good understanding of SAP security, user administration, and audit compliance.
