Job Description

As a SAP Basis Administrator at Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining SAP environments to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing SAP Basis administration tasks such as installation, upgrades, and patching. - Configuring and managing SAP Solution Manager functionalities like System Monitoring, EWA, and CHARM. - Collaborating with functional and technical teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues. - Supporting audits and compliance activities through proper documentation and system checks. To excel in this role, you should have: - 4-12 years of experience in SAP Basis and Solution Manager. - Strong expertise in managing complex SAP landscapes and utilizing Solution Manager for proactive system management. - Hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and PI systems. - Proficiency in Solution Manager setup and usage, including System Monitoring, CHARM, and Technical Monitoring. - Knowledge of HANA DB, OS/DB migrations, and backup strategies. - Experience in performance tuning, transport management, and system copies. - Understanding of SAP security, user administration, and audit compliance.
