Position Name: SAP Basis Consultant Location: Gurgaon Qualification : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience : 5 to 7 Years Summary: We are seeking a skilled SAP Basis Consultant with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting SAP systems. The candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of SAP landscapes. Key Responsibilities: System Monitoring : Proactively monitor SAP system performance, housekeeping jobs, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning measures. User and Role Management : Manage user accounts, authorizations, and role assignments across SAP systems. Transport Management : Manage transport requests, system changes Patch and Upgrade Management : Plan and implement SAP kernel and support package upgrades in coordination with S4 Rise, functional and business teams. Database Administration : Ensure database management tasks and performance optimization for databases Incident and Problem Management : Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. System Security : Implement SAP security best practices, including encryption, secure configurations, and vulnerability assessments. SAP Basis Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. System Backup and Recovery : Monitor backup across all SAP system landscape. Coordination with SAP and partners, raise SR and create cases to full-fill the SAP basis need Required Skills: Strong expertise in SAP Basis administration and performance tuning. Hands-on experience with SAP S4 Rise Proficiency in SAP Transport Management System (TMS) Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for SAP hosting. Understanding of SAP security concepts, including roles and authorizations. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and documentation skills. Basic Knowledge of BTP, Cloud connector, SAP Fiori and Web dispatcher
