Job Title: SAP Basis Administrator Educational Qualification: Bachelors Degree with 10+ years of experience Experience: Minimum 10 years of global delivery experience in related field of work Job Description: The SAP Basis Administrator role is to provide expertise on Installation, upgrade and maintenance of SAP and SAP related software products, perform activities associated with support of SAP environments, coordinate with sustain, SAP and other teams to help achieving various business initiatives. Job Responsibilities: Manage system performance, upgrades, transport management, client and landscape strategies, batch scheduling. Provide technical support and upgrades for various functional and technical enhancements. Perform SAP Installation, administration and maintenance of servers running SAP S/4HANA, Portal, BO, Solution Manager, Fiori, Gateway, SAP BTP/Cloud appliances. Ensure the availability of the services. Provide 3rd level assistance in resolving critical production incidents or pain points leveraging the Application Maintenance and Support partner teams including Database Administrators, Security, AMS Basis, and SAP Enterprise Cloud Services teams (Hana Enterprise Cloud managed by SAP RISE private cloud). Application & database backup and refresh activities Monitoring, troubleshooting, administrating, and tuning of multiple SAP systems across landscapes. Analysis of the logs, monitoring of processes, analysis and clean-up of update terminations, analysis and clean-up of lock entries and checking for ABAP dumps Transports, CHARM & Change Control, maintenance of transport protocols, plan, and implement scheduled change requests, resolve transport related issues. Manage overall SAP note analysis and implementations and drive technical SAP incidents to resolution. Qualification: SAP S/4HANA Administration: Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA BASIS administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems. Proficient in managing system landscapes, client administration, transport management, and system monitoring. Technical Troubleshooting: Skilled in identifying and resolving technical issues related to SAP S/4HANA systems. Strong troubleshooting abilities to debug and analyze system performance, application errors, and database issues. System Integration: Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA integration scenarios, including integration with other SAP modules and external systems. Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting integration interfaces, ensuring seamless data flow between systems. Team Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams, including developers, functional consultants, and project managers who are primarily located in the US and Philippines. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and deliver results within deadlines. Performance Tuning and Optimization: Skilled in optimizing SAP S/4HANA systems for maximum performance. Proficient in analyzing system performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing performance tuning techniques to enhance system efficiency.
