Job Description

Experience Required: 6-10 years of experience in implementing and customizing SAP Business One. Strong techno-functional expertise, with a balanced understanding of both technical and functional aspects of SAP Business One. Experience in automotive, retail, or distribution industries is an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: Consultation/Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements related to Product Distribution, Planning, Inventory Management, Sales processes, and Finance. Design, configure, and implement SAP B1 solutions tailored to meet these needs, ensuring alignment with industry-specific goals and best practices. Advise on SAP B1 optimizations and customizations to ensure clarity, accuracy, and business value. Implementation / Support / Optimization: Customize, Implement and Support SAP Business One encompassing functional expertise, technical skills, and project management abilities. Should work based on the documented requirements, ensuring that client s business processes are fully optimized by leading and ensuring delivery within Scope, Time and Budget. Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues. Hands-on experience of all the modules and Processes like Purchase, Sales & CRM, Inventory/Warehouse Management, Finance & Accounting, Production Planning, Budget Management, Cash Management, Vehicle Master Data and Activity Management, Fixed Asset Management, GST Compliance and Reporting, Business Intelligence and Analytics. Identify opportunities to optimize business processes and improve system performance. Conducting system testing and troubleshooting. Developing and maintaining documentation. Supporting data migration and data validation activities. Provide Support and training to end users on SAP B1 functionalities and best practices. Identifying. Communicating and escalating project Status, risks and issues effectively. Nice to have experience of moving SAPB1 ON Cloud instance to SAPB1 On Premise instance. Technical Expertise and Integration: Strong knowledge of SAP Business One architecture, functionalities, and modules, with hands-on experience in technical configuration, customization, Integration, and SAP B1 reporting tools. Expertise in SQL, stored procedures, and advanced query writing, specifically for SAP HANA and reporting/analytics. Proficiency in customizing, configuring, and integrating SAP B1 with third-party applications (e.g., EDI, CRM, web portals). Experience with SAP B1 cloud environments, along with developing, testing, and deploying B1 applications and enhancements (e.g., SDK, Crystal Reports, HANA). Manage and support technical configuration, customization, and integration of SAP Business One. Create comprehensive technical (design documents and specifications) and user documentation for SAP B1 processes and workflows. Manage SAP B1 version upgrades, patches, enhancements and regular system health checks. Maintaining Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as GST, TDS, and tax codes specific to the client s business. Configure taxation rules for interstate and intrastate purchases in line with applicable tax laws. Maintain compliance with inventory management practices like batch management, serial number tracking, and stock valuation. Skills: Strong understanding of business processes and industry best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Additional Skills and Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues in the tire distribution business.
