Role & responsibilities Overall 10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP with E2E implementation and support experience. Worked in at least 4 implementation/roll-out/upgrade projects in earlier engagement . A Senior Consultant is an individual who participates in implementation/upgrade/support projects and deliver them either from remote or Onsite. The Senior Consultant focuses on ABAP development objects and coordinates with remote development team. Further, the Senior Consultant would be liaising with Project Manager for tracking and implementation of projects. Extensive experience in ABAP development, with both custom development and customizations to existing processes, including use of IDOCs, ALE, RFC, BAPI, BADI, ALV ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, BDC (Batch-Input and Call Transaction Methods), Enhancements. Experience with SAP message outputs and configuration of output conditions using NACE. Good understanding of business process flows in SAP functional areas such as SD, MM and others. Ability to analyze business requirements, review existing systems, defines the solution Understanding on upcoming technologies such as HANA, FIORI. Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design, develop, and customize SAP ABAP programs and reports to meet business needs, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of developed solutions. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP issues, investigating and resolving issues in a timely manner. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
