SAP ABAP Trainee

Position: ABAP Trainee

We are looking for an enthusiastic SAP ABAP Developer with around 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP development. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting custom SAP applications and reports, ensuring alignment with business needs and SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, and enhancements.
• Work on RICEFW objects – Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Create and maintain ALV Reports, SmartForms, SAPscript, BAPIs, and BADIs.
• Support data migration using BDC and LSMW tools.
• Debug and troubleshoot SAP applications to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather and refine requirements.
• Participate in system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and maintain technical documentation.
• Assist in performance optimization of ABAP programs.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP ABAP and S/4HANA developments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Around 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Classical and Interactive Reports
• ALV Reports
• BDC / LSMW
• Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs)
• SmartForms / SAPscript
• BAPIs / RFCs
• Basic understanding of SAP functional modules (MM, SD, FI, PP, HR).
• Familiarity with debugging techniques and performance tuning.
• Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and modern ABAP features (CDS Views, AMDP, OData).
• Experience in SAP Fiori / UI5 or Gateway Services.
• Basic knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 10 per week
