SAP ABAP on HANA Architect

Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP on HANA Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP ABAP programming, HANA database technology, and S/4HANA architecture. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Solution Architecture: Design and architect robust, scalable, and high-performance SAP solutions, leveraging ABAP on HANA capabilities. HANA Modeling: Develop HANA models (Calculation Views, Analytical Views) to optimize data access and reporting. ABAP Development: Write efficient and maintainable ABAP code, including CDS views, AMDPs, and Fiori applications. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimizing ABAP code and HANA queries. Integration: Integrate SAP systems with other systems, both on-premise and cloud-based, using APIs, web services, and other integration technologies. Migration and Upgrade: Lead the migration of existing ABAP systems to S/4HANA and perform system upgrades. Team Management: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers. Required Skills And Experience 10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development 5+ years of experience with SAP HANA and S/4HANA Strong understanding of ABAP programming language, including object-oriented ABAP, CDS views, and AMDPs Expertise in HANA modeling, including Calculation Views, Analytical Views, and CDS views Experience with Fiori development and UI5 Knowledge of SAP integration technologies (APIs, web services, PI/PO) Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong analytical and technical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills Experience with SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) and SAP BTP Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts Certification in SAP ABAP, HANA, or S/4HANA Show more Show less
