Roles Responsibilities SAP ABAP Development Customization: Develop custom reports, ALV reports, smart forms, scripts, and enhancements using ABAP. Implement user exits, BADI, BAPI, and enhancement frameworks as per business needs. Create function modules, interfaces, and data conversions for SAP integration. Develop and modify SAP workflows, dialog programming, and module pool programming. Technical Support Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to SAP end-users and resolve system issues. Debug and analyze ABAP programs for performance optimization. Work with SAP Basis team to ensure smooth functioning of SAP applications. SAP Integration Data Migration: Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP and third-party applications using IDocs, RFC, and Web Services. Handle data migration using LSMW, BDC, and Direct Input Methods. Support SAP module integration (FICO, MM, SD, PP, etc.) with ABAP developments. Enhancements Upgrades: Participate in SAP version upgrades, patches, and testing. Optimize existing SAP applications to improve system performance and scalability. Implement best practices in ABAP development to ensure high-quality coding standards. Documentation User Training: Prepare technical documentation, test cases, and user manuals. Train SAP users and functional consultants on ABAP developments and custom solutions. Key Qualifications Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields. SAP ABAP certification is preferred. Experience: 4+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant in a manufacturing or agrochemical industry. Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA ABAP development is a plus. Skills Competencies: Strong expertise in ABAP programming, reports, forms, enhancements, and interfaces. Experience in IDOCs, BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, and Web Services. Knowledge of SAP tables, structures, and debugging techniques. Good understanding of SAP integration with FICO, MM, SD, and PP modules. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
