Job Purpose: Responsible for end-to-end recruitment activities for staff, workmen, and management positions, ensuring timely sourcing, screening, selection, and onboarding of quality talent to meet organizational manpower needs. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manpower Planning & Requirement Gathering Coordinate with department heads to understand open positions and workforce requirements (staff, technical, and shop-floor roles). Maintain a manpower requisition tracker and update hiring status weekly. 2. Sourcing & Talent Acquisition Source candidates using multiple channels: job portals, social media, employee referrals, recruitment agencies, local networks, and campus drives. Develop and maintain a database of potential candidates for future requirements. 3. Screening & Shortlisting Screen resumes for skills, experience, and cultural fit. Conduct telephonic pre-screening to assess candidate interest, availability, and suitability. 4. Coordination & Interview Process Schedule and coordinate interviews with technical and HR panels. Assist in competency-based assessments and aptitude tests if required. Ensure timely feedback collection from interviewers. 5. Offer & Onboarding Negotiate salary within approved budgets. Prepare offer letters and ensure pre-joining documentation is complete. Coordinate joining formalities, induction, and plant familiarization for new hires. 6. Recruitment Metrics & Reporting Track Time-to-Fill, Cost-per-Hire, and Source Effectiveness. Prepare weekly recruitment status reports for management. 7. Employer Branding & Talent Pipeline Participate in career fairs, campus hiring, and community hiring initiatives. Maintain positive relationships with technical institutes and training centers. Skills & Competencies: Strong communication & interpersonal skills. Ability to handle both white-collar and blue-collar recruitment. Networking and relationship-building ability. Familiarity with labor market trends, especially in manufacturing. Proficient in MS Office and recruitment tools (Naukri, LinkedIn, Shine, etc.). Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in HR, Management, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in recruitment (manufacturing/industrial sector preferred). Knowledge of local labor laws and compliance will be an added advantage.
