Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Sample Taker to join our team at Chennai Metro Water on a contractual basis. The Sample Taker will be responsible for collecting water samples from various locations in Chennai and its surrounding areas and delivering them to the laboratory for testing. This role requires punctuality, reliability, and the ability to adhere to a strict schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect water samples from designated locations in Chennai and nearby areas.
• Ensure proper handling and preservation of water samples during transportation to maintain sample integrity.
• Deliver collected samples to the laboratory within the specified timeframe.
• Maintain accurate records of sample collection times, locations, and delivery to the laboratory.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while handling samples.
• Coordinate with laboratory staff to ensure timely and efficient sample processing.
• Report any issues or concerns related to sample collection or transportation to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• A bike with a valid license required for daily travel.
• Ability to work early morning shifts, starting from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
• Punctuality and reliability in adhering to scheduled timings.
• Good physical stamina and ability to carry out outdoor tasks.
• Basic understanding of sample collection procedures (training will be provided).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions meticulously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
