Your journey in this role supporting our program will be entrepreneurial. The program has the full potential to be designed as a blended program in the future. Hence, a good hold and love for hybrid models is a must. Samait Shala’s key stakeholders are teachers, School Leaders, and disability resource teachers. You will be supporting the stakeholders to design system-based tools and practices towards Instructional Leadership (pedagogical and leadership practices) to enable them to define Inclusion for themselves. You will be the first contact with all our stakeholders, and they will be learning a lot from you. The role requires you to be agile and operate in a dynamic environment. You are someone who embraces failures, as moving ahead with them is a sure part of this role. You are well-versed with the application of the current National Curriculum Frameworks and Inclusive Education practices in the Indian Context. Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Stakeholder responsibilities o Execute projects within the schools/partner organizations as per their needs o Provide Instructional and operational support to the schools/partner organizations o Serve as a mentor/coach to the teacher, which involves brainstorming with them for their classroom contexts, school visits, and need-based learning experiences o Design and conduct training sessions both online and offline o Monitor and evaluate programmatic outcomes and activities as laid down o Set periodic accountability measures for yourself and stakeholders o Design detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders 2. Developing self and stakeholders o You will be required to upskill yourself in the area of programmatic focus o Define excellence for self and stakeholders, as they will learn from you o A “self-figuring out” attitude is a must for the role o You will be part of the organizational-level training during the year 3. Culture and collaboration o Believe in “one for all and all for one” o Work on cross-functional priorities of the Organization o Leveraging Samait Shala’s existing network of expertise and connecting with new ones Qualification and Experience o A minimum of 4 years’ experience in the education sector in teaching and direct relation to School teachers and/or School Leaders is a MUST o Experience in designing and conducting virtual training (Adult Learning Principles; Instructional Design) is a MUST o An intermediate to advanced proficiency in English (MUST) and Gujarati (preferred) A Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in the field of education is preferred o Pro at using Google for Workspace tools and navigating online platforms Duration: a) Minimum commitment of 2 years required. b) The role requires you to start immediately.
