Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Salesperson based at the Kolkata office of SMIFS Limited. The incumbent will engage in building and maintaining client relationships, promoting the company’s suite of financial services, identifying new business opportunities, and converting potential leads into long-term clients. Key responsibilities will also involve meeting sales targets, presenting tailored financial solutions, gathering market insights, and collaborating with the internal team to ensure client satisfaction. Exceptional communication and customer service skills are critical to succeeding in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in client relationship management, lead generation, and persuasive communication
• Basic understanding of financial products, such as brokerage, investment banking, and portfolio management
• Strong abilities in market research, reporting, and providing data-driven advisory
• Effective time management, teamwork, and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in presentation, negotiation, and sales strategies
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields; MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage
• Experience in financial services or related industries is preferred
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and client-oriented environment
