The Opportunity We are currently looking for a SalesForce Engineer - Intermediate ~ As an Intermediate Salesforce Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of complex Salesforce solutions tailored for Energy and Utilities companies. You will also play a key role in implementing DevOps best practices, ensuring continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), infrastructure automation, and system reliability. Your technical expertise in Salesforce Industry Solutions (ideally Energy & Utilities Cloud) combined with DevOps methodologies will enable you to enhance team productivity and streamline operations. Your success will be reflected by~ Effective contribution to product and technical development. Active participation in Agile ceremonies and development workflows. Reliable and high-quality code contributions validated by peer reviews. Smooth and efficient deployments with minimal downtime and quick rollback strategies. Positive feedback from technical reviewers, team members, and leadership. Successful mentorship and knowledge sharing within the team. Implementation of process improvements leading to enhanced productivity and efficiency. What we're looking for (you don’t need to be a guru at all, we’re looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you)~ Principal Responsibilities / Accountabilities~ Operational Implement and manage version control systems for OmniStudio components. Develop and enforce a Git branching strategy and pull request review guidelines. Utilize Salesforce CLI and OmniStudio Build Tool for component management. Establish CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodeBuild. Automate deployment processes and manage environment configurations. Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues and improve deployment practices. Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows. Customize and configure Salesforce Industry Clouds, specifically Energy & Utilities Cloud. Implement and optimize Salesforce integrations with external applications and APIs. Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, security guidelines, and coding standards. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality software. Person Specification~ Experience / Knowledge Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of Salesforce development experience with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and SOQL. 2+ years of DevOps experience, focusing on CI/CD, release management, and automation. Expertise in OmniStudio, EPC, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, and other relevant technologies within the Salesforce ecosystem. Strong understanding of Salesforce API integrations (REST/SOAP) and event-driven architectures. Knowledge of environment management practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex requirements, architect scalable solutions, and troubleshoot issues effectively. Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce OmniStudio Developer, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I are highly desirable. Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in Salesforce technologies and development practices. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with Bash scripting for automation. Proven track record in managing version control systems and deploying components to multiple environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
