Role Summary: As a Salesforce Architect, you will be responsible for delivering various technical designs and artefacts to development teams, providing expert knowledge in systems integration, and leading impact analysis to determine the effect of business requirements. You will lead the design of architecture views and provide guidance to developers and other architects to tackle complex problems. Additionally, you will support cost benefits analyses, manage third-party partners, and collaborate with the Solution Architecture team to drive strategic architecture and roadmap. Responsibilities: • Deliver various technical designs and artefacts to development teams. Provide expert knowledge in systems integration and design SOA-based systems. Lead impact analysis to determine the effect of business requirements. Lead the design of appropriate architecture views and viewpoints, including UML diagrams. • Provide guidance to developers and other architects to break down complex problems. Support the delivery of cost benefits analyses and gap analyses. Manage third-party partners to ensure compliance with development standards. Collaborate with the Solution Architecture team to drive strategic architecture and roadmap initiatives. Your Experience: Experience in a Technical Architect role and development role Experience of working with development teams in both on and offshore environments Experience of Salesforce.com including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud (Most important), data cloud, loyalty cloud etc. Strong hands-on experience with APEX and Visualforce Experience of Salesforce managed packages Experience of integrating Salesforce with Marketing Automation platforms Four+ years development experience with Apex, Visual Force and Salesforce • Work with stakeholders and portfolio and solution architects to identify reasonable migration paths from the current state to target architectures Work closely with various teams (Business, Development, Infrastructure, PMO) to define and implement elegant, scalable and sustainable technical solutions using the Salesforce technologies, with a focus on adhering to industry standards, best practices and code quality techniques Research, recommend and implement AppExchange applications and salesforce upgrades to help meet business needs Provide Salesforce technical leadership for team of developers, admins and analysts Document current and future state processes and develop technical specifications for projects and enhancements. Aid end-user application support (troubleshooting errors, managing support tickets, and testing solutions) and release management (migration, refreshes, version control and deployment) as needed Lead design of technical end-to-end solution for business processes using Salesforce.com Sales Cloud, Service cloud & force.com platform Work with internal technical team members representing back-office applications to design seamless integration between the applications, particularly ERP and Financial applications. Demonstrate ability to multi-task and re-prioritize responsibilities based on changing requirements (such as urgent customer problems.
