Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Specialist located in Chandapura,Bengaluru South. The Sales Specialist will actively engage with customers to address their needs, promote fitness membership plans, and provide guidance on service offerings. Daily responsibilities include meeting sales targets, maintaining customer relationships, providing high-quality customer service, conducting occasional training sessions regarding fitness products or services, and creating strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact and assist clients.
• Proven ability in Sales and Sales Management, including achieving targets and implementing successful sales strategies.
• Experience in providing Training to educate customers or team members about fitness services and product offerings.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Proactive attitude and passion for the fitness industry are highly advantageous.
• Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

Actively manage and cultivate a sales funnel by making 40-60 outbound calls/texts daily to fresh leads, past inquiries, and ex-members.

Systematically ask for referrals (Point of Sale referrals) to generate organic leads.

The Sales Process (Membership + PT)

Needs Analysis: Conduct deep discovery interviews to understand the prospect's goals and pain points.

Assessment Booking: If a PT package is not sold on the spot, you must successfully book the member for a Fitness Assessment or Induction with a trainer (which serves as the second opportunity to sell).

Floor Prospecting: Build rapport with existing members on the gym floor who are training alone and convert them into potential PT clients by highlighting how coaching can accelerate their results.

Updated: Success Metrics (KPIs)

Closing Percentage: Target of 60%+ conversion on walk-ins.

PT Attachment Rate: 20-30% of new members must purchase a PT package or starter bundle upon joining.
