Sales & Service Engineer

Position: Service Engineer / Sales Engineer
Location: Punjab
Experience Required: ≈ 7 years (minimum 5–8 years)

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain and service equipment / systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems (mechanical / electrical / instrumentation / IR sensors / industrial equipment or relevant domain) and provide timely solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and regular upkeep to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal operation.
• Maintain detailed records of service calls, maintenance reports, spare parts usage, and customer interactions.
• Provide customer support on-site, explain usage/maintenance procedures, and ensure customer satisfaction with service delivered.
• Work collaboratively with sales/engineering teams to support installations, upgrades or custom requirements when needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / B.Tech / Engineering degree (or equivalent) in relevant field (Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical / Electrical) or significant hands-on experience.
• ~7 years of experience in field service, maintenance, installation, or similar role (industrial equipment, instrumentation etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting & diagnostic skills — able to identify root causes and propose corrective/preventive solutions.
• Good communication skills — dealings with customers on-site, explaining technical matters, clear documentation.
• Ability to work independently, travel to customer sites, manage time & tasks, and handle service calls under pressure.
• Willingness for field visits, site-work, and occasional travel if required.
