Sales/ Sales Executive

As a Textbook Sales / Book Sales professional in our publishing organization, your role is crucial in promoting and selling educational textbooks and instructional materials to schools, school districts, and academic institutions. Your strong understanding of the education sector, excellent communication skills, and dedication to building lasting client relationships will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain strategic relationships with school administrators, curriculum coordinators, and educators. - Present and promote textbook offerings and digital learning solutions to K12 institutions. - Conduct on-site and virtual sales presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions. - Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, and customer service) to address client needs and support sales objectives. - Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics within designated territories. - Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and challenges. - Participate in educational conferences, trade shows, and relevant networking events. - Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activity, and account status using CRM software. Qualifications: - Any graduate - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in educational publishing. - Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Familiarity with curriculum standards, adoption cycles, and school procurement processes. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Willingness to travel within assigned territory as needed.
