Shift 1 (United States of America) Position Summary: The Aftermarket Sales Representative plays a key role in driving sales for aftermarket products and services, such as spare parts, system upgrades, maintenance plans, and other value-added offerings. This role focuses on fostering strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and delivering tailored technical and commercial solutions to meet customer requirements. Essential/Key Functions: Exceed annual aftermarket parts service revenue growth objectives, while maintaining gross margin, through aggressive business strategy combining in-person meetings, telemarketing strategies and e-commerce marketing initiatives In coordination with the Aftermarket Sales Director implement annual aftermarkets parts service pricing strategies focused on revenue growth and profitability with each of our customers within the Americas Results driven with the ability to make analytical decisions with customer negotiations Develop excellent product and application knowledge of Milacron and competitive equipment Effectively communicates and works cross-functionally with Field Sales, Service and Product Support teams Utilization of Salesforce (CRM) including weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecast projections, assuring we are completely prepared to effectively support customers demand and execute business growth objectives Responsibly maintain company owned assets which include vehicles, equipment and computers Provides technical expertise where needed. Attends required/approved sales meetings, business meetings, and industry conventions. Actively participates in offered sales training and development programs to help them progress in their overall success and capabilities Other ad-hoc analysis and special assignments as required. Gets to know competitors and their practices within the assigned region. Mechanical, electrical, machining, hydraulic aptitude with the ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics. Ability to interface professionally and cordially with customers. Minimum (Required) Qualifications: Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or four to five years of experience in Business Administration or Marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5+ years in an outside B2B field sales role, preferably within a technical or capital equipment sales industry. Experience in the plastic extrusion and/or injection-molding industry is a plus. Knowledge of Database software; spreadsheet software such as Excel; Word, and PowerPoint. Sales Force or other CRM Platform experience a plus Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry including ability to read, measure, understand and use calipers, micrometer and/or other measurement tools with respect to physical attributes of components Willingness to travel - this role requires frequent travel Valid driver s license with good driving record.
