Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Engineer with expertise in both iOS and Android platforms to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile automation testing, as well as a deep understanding of both iOS and Android application testing frameworks. You will play a key role in improving the quality and reliability of our mobile applications by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for both iOS and Android mobile applications. Develop and execute automated functional, regression, and performance tests using mobile testing tools such as Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, and Robot Framework. Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test cases that can be automated, and ensure that all automation tests are integrated into the continuous integration (CI) pipeline. Analyze and report test results, providing feedback to the development team regarding any defects or issues found. Identify, design, and implement improvements to the test automation framework to increase efficiency, maintainability, and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the mobile test environment, ensuring smooth execution of tests across both iOS and Android devices. Perform manual testing when necessary to validate complex or critical use cases. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in mobile application testing, tools, and technologies. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in mobile automation testing for both iOS and Android platforms. Strong knowledge of Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, or similar mobile automation tools. Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Proficiency in Java, Swift, Kotlin, or Objective-C. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Hands-on experience with mobile testing frameworks, such as JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber. Knowledge of mobile application lifecycles, architecture, and testing methodologies. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Ability to create and maintain automated test scripts, handle test data, and generate test reports. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
