Role Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Process & Counseling Trainer to train and coach our sales and academic counseling teams. This role blends traditional sales enablement with student-focused consultation techniques, ensuring that our teams not only convert leads but also build trust through value-driven counseling during live product demos. Key Responsibilities: *Sales & Counseling Training: Design and deliver training modules focused on both sales techniques and academic counseling strategies to help teams engage, guide, and convert prospective learners during live demo sessions. *Live Demo Coaching: Equip counselors and sales reps with skills to conduct impactful one-on-one product demos, with a strong focus on student needs analysis, value articulation, and objection handling. * Onboarding Training: Lead comprehensive onboarding for new hires, covering sales process, product knowledge, CRM use, demo presentation skills, and student psychology. *Role-plays & Simulations: Organize mock counseling sessions and demo simulations to provide hands-on practice and immediate feedback. *Process Standardization: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to establish best practices and standard operating procedures for live counseling and demo delivery. *Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs like demo-to-conversion ratio, counseling quality, and feedback scores to assess training impact and guide continuous improvement. *Sales Tools Training: Train teams on CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot), lead management tools, demo platforms (e.g., Zoom, Calendly), and sales enablement content. Qualifications: * 3–5 years of experience in sales training, academic counseling, or sales enablement—preferably in the EdTech, e-learning, or education sector. * Demonstrated ability to coach teams on both consultative selling and empathetic student engagement. * Deep understanding of the sales funnel, demo environments, and customer journey in an education-focused sales process. * Exceptional communication, facilitation, and coaching skills (virtual and in-person). * Experience in designing role-based training for both sales and counseling functions. * Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), CRM platforms, and virtual communication tools. Preferred Skills: * Background in educational counseling, career advising, or academic mentorship. * Certification in sales or training methodologies (e.g., SPIN, Challenger, Sandler). * Experience with instructional design or eLearning development. * High emotional intelligence and understanding of student pain points and decision-making behavior.
