Job Description

Company: This is for a new D2C company operating in FMCG insutry who also appeared on SHARK TANK rcently. They are building a new category in Food space and are starting their OFFLINE general trade Business from Delhi CNR Location: Delhi NCR Experience required 2-5 years in FMCG Sales (General Trade) Job Summary: The Sales Officer will be responsible for achieving sales targets, increasing product visibility, and expanding the retailer network in the assigned area. The candidate should have prior experience in FMCG General Trade (GT) sales , preferably in personal care, organic, or food products . Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Execution & Target Achievement: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Regularly visit retailers and distributors to generate orders. Ensure product placement and availability across stores. 2. Market Expansion & Retailer Engagement: Identify and onboard new retailers to expand the brand presence. Strengthen relationships with existing retailers and distributors. Ensure proper stock replenishment and minimize returns. 3. Trade Marketing & Promotions: Implement trade schemes and promotional activities at retail outlets. Ensure proper display and visibility of products in stores. Educate retailers on product features and benefits. 4. Reporting & Market Insights: Provide daily/weekly sales reports to the Area Sales Manager. Track competitor activities and market trends to suggest corrective actions. Maintain records of sales, collections, and market feedback. Key Requirements: Education: Graduate (MBA preferred but not mandatory). Experience: 2-5 years in FMCG sales (General Trade). Strong retailer & distributor network in Delhi NCR. Good negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Proficiency in MS Office & sales reporting tools. Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
