Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Identify and target potential customers in the automotive industry, including OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and aftermarket clients.Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.Generate leads, conduct market research, and analyze industry trends to identify new business opportunities.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and negotiations.Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable wiring harness solutions.Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure customer needs are met.Provide technical guidance and support to customers regarding product specifications.Prepare and present competitive pricing proposals and quotations.Negotiate contract terms and conditions with customers, ensuring profitability.Monitor and manage pricing strategies in line with market dynamics.Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.Identify new market segments and develop entry strategies.Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for senior management.Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and contract details.Use CRM tools to manage customer information and sales pipelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA) is a plus.Minimum of 5-15 years of experience in business development or sales within the automotive wiring harness manufacturing industry.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of automotive wiring harness products, applications, and industry standards.Proficiency in CRM softwareExcellent negotiation and presentation skills.
