About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Sales & Marketing Engineer to drive the sales of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) within the HVAC sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HVAC systems and VFD applications, coupled with a passion for delivering tailored solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the HVAC market for VFD products. 
• Develop and maintain relationships with MEP consultants, HVAC contractors, OEMs, and end-users.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring optimal VFD selection and integration. 
• Collaborate with the engineering team to design customized VFD solutions that meet client specifications. 
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. 
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies. 
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in sales or application engineering, specifically with VFDs in HVAC applications.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong technical knowledge of VFDs, HVAC systems, and related controls.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as required.

• Experience with major VFD brands (e.g., ABB, Siemens, Danfoss).
• Familiarity with building automation systems and energy management solutions.
• Understanding of local HVAC market dynamics and regulatory standards.
