Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to drive our banquet sales at the Grandreams, Nehru Place property. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with a proven track record in banquet and event sales, capable of leading a team to exceed revenue targets. You will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and client consultation to negotiation and event execution. While we have a preference for a female candidate to align with our current team structure, we welcome applications from all qualified individuals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Acquisition: Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities for weddings, corporate events, social functions, and other large-scale gatherings.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry to event completion.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and surpass monthly and annual sales targets.
Negotiation & Closing: Expertly negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve individual and collective goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
A minimum of 2-5 years of total experience, with at least 1+ years specifically in banquet/event sales within the hospitality industry.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Strong proficiency with sales management software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and event management tools (e.g., Cvent).
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven leadership abilities with a collaborative and results-oriented approach.
Knowledge of the Delhi/NCR market is a significant advantage.
